Introduction
BIRME stands for Batch Image Resizing Made Easy.
BIRME is a flexible and easy to use image resizer. It can resize your images to any specific dimensions and crop your images proportionately if necessary. Best of all, BIRME is free for all to use.

Where can BIRME be used?
- Resizing images for websites, fitting images into website templates.
- Reducing images' file sizes by choosing a lower JPG quality.
- Generating thumbnails.
- Converting images from various formats into one format JPG, GIF or PNG.
Instructions
- Download and place BIRME in the folder where the images are to be resized.
- Run "BIRME.exe".
- Enter "Target width". If you would like BIRME to decide the best width for your images, leave the value blank and hit "ENTER" and proceed to enter desired height.
- Enter "Target height".Again, if you would like BIRME to decide the best height for your images, leave the value blank and hit "ENTER". Note that if you leave both fields blank, the images will NOT be resized.
- Choose the image format. Press 1 for JPG, 2 for GIF and 3 for PNG. The default setting is JPG. Press "ENTER" to begin resizing.
- If selected format is JPG, you will have to enter desired image quality before resizing will begin.
- The resized images will be located in "resized" folder.
- To quit BIRME or stop the process at any time, press "Ctrl+c".
